On Saturday, April 22, 2023, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra made its debut at Carnegie Hall, New York! The program under the direction of Kent Nagano included works by Brahms, Beethoven and Sean Shepherd. New Concert season 2022/23
The Philharmonic will start the new season with Kent Nagano in August 2022 with the Philharmonic Academy and concerts at the Elbphilharmonie, on the Rathausmarkt and at St. Michaelis. The highlights of the 195th concert season include the 6th symphony by Gustav Mahler, Jörg Widmann's oratorio ARCHE and the opening concert of the Hamburg International Music Festival 2023. Among the guests are: Joana Mallwitz, Evgeny Kissin, Bertrand de Billy, Andrey Boreyko, Albrecht Mayer, Liza Ferschtman, Reinhold Friedrich, Jean-Guihen Queyras and others. Read more...
